BiteFX V1.2 End-of-Life

Email sent to all BiteFX V1.2 customers on October 10, 2013:

This is to let you know that BiteFX V1.2, first released in April 2009, will reach its end-of-life at the end of this year - 12/31/2013. At that point it will be over 4 1/2 years old - which is getting a little long-in-the-tooth in the fast-moving world of computer software. Also we need to focus our efforts on supporting, maintaining and enhancing the current version, BiteFX V2, which was released over a year ago.

BiteFX V1.2 Support Ending December 31, 2013
From 1/1/2014 we will not be providing support for BiteFX V1.2. This means that any request for support, including manually re-registering copies of BiteFX, will be given the same response: "You must upgrade to the current release of BiteFX!"

(Online registration of BiteFX V1.2 should continue to work, but after 1/1/2014 we won't be actively maintaining that system. I.e. if it breaks it will remain broken.)

How this Affects You
As long as nothing changes on your computers and no problems occur (such as disk crashes) your current version of BiteFX should continue to work as it does today.

Your only concern should be when you have to upgrade your computer, operating system, or other software products which affect BiteFX.

Upgrade Options
To be sure that you are not caught in a situation of needing to upgrade BiteFX just before you have an important patient consultation your best policy is, of course, to upgrade before the end of the year.

I will be mailing you information about an extension to our upgrade offer for BiteFX customers - or you can get the offer now by calling us (1-530-582-1189).

We believe this notice provides you with sufficient time in which to act and trust that BiteFX is serving you as well as we hear it is for so many of our customers.

Sincerely,
Doug Brown

What people are saying about BiteFX::

BiteFX is an awesome, revolutionary product.

One of the best tutorials I've seen for explaining occlusal disease to patients. The reasons for occlusal therapy are explained with excellent animations and anatomic accuracy.
